Check it out: Another fly natural for you all to be inspired by, Ms. Ashley

Here’s what Ashley has to say:
I love being natural because with doing so I have much more versatility with my styling. I have tried a variety of hairstyles and am able to rock them and create a new look each time. I was always known as the girl with the long hair when I had a relaxer. The styling was very typical and predictable. Now I’m able to have variety whether it be coils, twists, an Afro or straight…and its all with my healthy, God intended natural hair

  • Oh, I love that frohawk! If only I knew how to cornrow properly...
  • Thanks for all of the comments!

@Meca Johnson: To achieve the look, I already had my hair braided at the front and tied a satin scarf over the braids before getting in the shower. I washed and conditioned my loose hair with Miss Jessie's Creme de la Curl shampoo and Creme de la Creme conditioner. Then I applied Curly Buttercreme (Miss Jessie's) while the hair was wet. I sat under the dryer until the fro was dry and then untied the front. To seperate the two sections, I tied a scarf at the end of the braids.
  • Ashley, Has beautiful hair. Love it.
