Giovanni Smooth As Silk Review
I purchased this conditioner on a whim, after seeking a deep conditioner alternative that would be more natural. This also is my first Giovanni product purchase. I got this at Walmart and it was on sale for $5.57 (or so), not a bad deal compared to it’s usual $7 and above price tag. The Giovanni Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture Conditioner
The bottles are very distinguishable and I think, kinda cute. The GSAS has a scent to it. I’m not sure how to describe it, it’s not too strong, but it sure isn’t the most faint. After my co-wash, I used a little bit to just give me some extra moisture. I left in my hair for maybe 10 mins. Then rinsed.
The verdict:
It’s good, but not great. It didn’t “wow” me. My hair felt ok, and it didn’t really do anything extra for me. I’ll still use it however. It can make for a nice deeper moisture co-wash item. Or I can use it in my mixes. Either way, I am not tossing it, because it kind of meets the bar.
